Saiia Construction has the knowledge and experience to serve as an integral part of any landfill construction team regardless of the scope of services required. Saiia has experience building new landfills, expanding existing landfills and performing capping and closure services. We have experience building cells as large as 33 acres and as small as 5 acres. In addition to excavation and earthwork services, Saiia forces perform or manage the installation of the leachate collection systems, the HDPE liner system, the HDPE pipe installation, and the installation of lift stations and pumps when necessary. The clay liner installation and the sand layers are critical to the quality of the landfill cells. Saiia crews have the experience required to install clay and synthetic lining systems and have incorporated bentonite into the process when necessary.
