Experience

Frank Montgomery joined Saiia in 1993 after being recruited from Thompson Caterpillar Co. His decade with Caterpillar gave him the equipment, financing, utilization, and fleet management knowledge to provide Saiia with an operational advantage. Montgomery is a member of the ACC Cos.’ executive leadership team, where he develops strategic initiatives and oversees IT infrastructure. He also facilitates equipment capital expenditures for the group. He earned bachelor’s degrees in finance and business from Birmingham-Southern College.

Lavaughn East started his career as a co-op engineer with Saiia Construction Co. in 1994. In the last 20 years, East has experienced all phases of engineering, project management, and field operations. He currently works as manager of the company’s civil division. East has increased Saiia’s focus on providing civil services to power, mining, pulp and paper, and manufacturing client operations. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from University of Alabama in 1996.

Kenneth Madison is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors across the broad spectrum of Saiia’s work offerings. He represents Saiia with trade organizations and travels extensively across the Southeastern United States, identifying work opportunities. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Alabama, and a master’s degree in business administration from Jacksonville State University. He has been with Saiia for more than 20 years.
